Robert Hodgson

As one of the newest members of BPS Recovery’s Insolvency team, Robert is directly responsible for managing a large portfolio of administrations including all types of formal insolvency appointments. His background of over 5 years in insolvency is underpinned by several years of experience within the business services industry predominately focusing on taxation and audit.

Robert prides himself on his lateral thinking ability, always attempting to look at problems from all the angles. He possesses excellent analytical skills which assist him in more complex insolvency appointments, ensuring maximum compliance and efficiency. He understands that one of the key aspects of corporate insolvency is being able to simplify complex information and communicate to all respective parties in a way that is understood.

Robert enjoys the challenge that corporate insolvency presents and the reward of being able to assist people when they need it most to ensure they receive the best possible outcome for their future. He brings a unique experience to the team as he not only manages corporate appointments but also a portfolio of Incorporated Associations, which require a different approach to that of corporate matters.

Surprisingly, accounting isn’t Robert’s greatest passion in life, but a close second to travelling the world and experiencing what other cultures have to offer. He is always active enjoying all types of sport, loves to talk about himself in the third person and is a self-proclaimed trivia expert.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce Accounting, Macquarie University
• Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (Course Completed 2018), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
• Registered Justice of the Peace in the state of New South Wales
