One of BPS Recovery’s fearless leaders, Mitch has 20 years’ experience in corporate insolvency and reconstruction, finessing his skills in a line-up of leading firms. He’s managed complex liquidations and voluntary administrations across the property, finance, manufacturing, IT and building and construction industries. Mitch has also acted as Voluntary Administrator, Liquidator and Receiver and Manager in a large number of corporate appointments since becoming a Registered Liquidator in 2005.
In 2009, he became a Founding Partner of BPS Recovery alongside Maxwell Prentice and David Sampson, where he now manages the corporate insolvency team. Mitch is known as a leader with high standards – he sets the strategic direction for his team and leads by example. You might think he’s a tough guy to please – but at his core, Mitch just loves achieving great outcomes for his clients, and expects his teams to follow the high standard he sets in every case. He’s always happy to serve as a sounding board, offering his teams the guidance they need to make the right call.
Mitch is ambitious, pragmatic and smart, with skills honed throughout a successful career: he fell into the insolvency industry 25 years ago and decided to stick around. He’s now built up BPS Recovery and, previously, owned another firm. Mitch works across every element of a case, from marketing and strategy to execution and administration. He brings his committed approach with each client and every stakeholder, resolving any issues throughout the process.
A soccer tragic and regular Test Match attendee (he hasn’t missed one since 1988!) Mitch’s idea of chilling out is to watch adrenalin-producing sports!
